- 12th of April
- 9.30 am
- “Jesus is Alive” message by special speaker Goh Keat Peng
- The link to the service will be made available on Sunday; for everyone on this website or via Whatsapp message to members.
During this season of great uncertainty and fear, it is good to remember that God knows us and loves us – He is the God of Love and Mercy.
“As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him” (Psalm 103:13-17)
And Easter is all about God’s completed plan for our salvation from the penalty of our sins and victory over the sting of death.
“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…………………
Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive……………………
“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”[i]
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15)
