WHAT DOES OUR LORD DESIRE OF US?
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:15-23 NIV)
Three things our LORD desires of Bangsar in 2018:
WHAT MUST OUR RESPONSE BE TO OUR LORD?
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42 NIV)
Four things Bangsar will continue to do in 2018:
- Engage our Community through both “come and go” methods.
- Encounter Christ through “inward and outward” movements.
- Embrace Cell life through “disciple small and integrate big” meetings.
- Enlist into the Commission through “local and overseas” missions.
Four things Bangsar must become in 2018:
- A church devoted in learning.
- A church devoted in fellowshipping.
- A church devoted in worshipping.
- A church devoted in praying.
By paying careful attention and strengthening these essential fundamentals in Bangsar, it is our prayer and desire that many more will believe in our LORD Jesus Christ through our message (John 17:20) and the LORD will add to our numbers those who have been saved (Acts 2:47).
All for the glory of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ and the furtherance of His kingdom as we continue to know Him, love Him and live for Him.
