Our New Generation of Teachers

Teaching is a noble profession and an important one for the growth and nurturing of the next generation and for giving them a better future.
Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. (Deut 32:2)
Many in BGC have been part of this fine profession and vocation and just recently, two fresh graduates, Shueh-Yi and Li Yen, decided to serve as teachers too.  Read all about them as well as other teachers (retired or otherwise) in Bangsar Gospel Centre’s newsletter – beacon@bangsar August 2014 issue.  You can click on the following link “2014AUGbeacon” to read it.
Where’s teacher Shueh-Yi? Where’s Shueh-Yi? She’s definitely as young-looking as her college students. How she manages to get them to focus on her lessons must be a challenge!
Li Yen, who has signed up to Teach For Malaysia. celebrates her recent convocation with mum Chui Theen and brothers, Cheng Jin and Cheng Kit.
