Seniors Serious About Ipoh

Posted on Posted in Seniors, Travel

So our Seniors’ Group is going great guns.  Last month, on the 15th and 16th, they went on an adventure together to Ipoh.  This is the second trip in two years to Ipoh.  This may be the start of an annual tradition!

Simon and Susan were the ringleaders as they graciously and excitedly shared their hometown with their fellow adventurers.  They describe their trip as an adventure in serious feasting, serious sightseeing and serious fellowshipping“.  Obviously a very serious bunch. 🙂

Their packed itinerary included a Tanjung Tualang seafood lunch, a visit to a Gopeng bean and soy sauce factory, a visit to Gopeng Museum, Sunday worship at Elim Gospel Hall, chilling at the local coffeeshops, “lepak”-ing at Siman & Susan’s Ipoh home and many other things.

Maybe you would like to join in their next adventures?  Unless otherwise announced, they meet at the church at 6 pm every 3rd Sunday of the month.
